I hope someone can help me.  I have a dear friend who is looking for a knitting pattern for a 60s dress or style of dress to knit, the problem is she has no access to the net, so I said I would try and help.  The style she is after is like the Mary Quant straight mini dresses, if anyone knows of a website or have a pattern they could scan for me… or post a copy… we are willing to pay.

Thanks to anyone that can help.

Hi KAZ and welcome to the forum.  I do have loads of the sort of patterns you are looking for but they are not for sale but if you go to http://www.javaslublu.com and type in 60s knitting patterns you will find lots of knitting magazines from the 40s to 80s. Look for the Stitchcraft magazine from the 1970s and you should find what you are looking for.

First thing that sprang to mind was this:

http://www.laughinghens.com/knitting-supplies.asp?name=Rooster

Scroll down to “Rooster book 1”.

Is that something like what you are looking for?

Happy knitting,

Cat.

Welcome to the forum Cat.  Don’t be shy, tell us a little about yourself. Don’t worry you don’t have to post a piccie, just give us a clue as to where you are from etc.
