How is it going NESSA. Not got too dizzy on those rounds????? tongue laugh

Not too badly Gill...although I am still having problems with my left hand...too many fingers LOL
I started with some baby wool but soon discarded that and now I am trying with some thicker wool so that I can see the stitches where I have to put the hook....either that or it’s the magnifier oh oh ...but I will get there and I will post a pic...promise

Ness

I bought one of the crochet hooks with the lights on the end and really like it.

It’s a lovely top.  I can do basic crochet but can’t imagine ever being good enough to do something like that.

To get rid of the pasta stain soak you dress in biological hand wash soap, if you have a stain bar give it a rub, or if you have a stain remover spray, spray it on and work it into the material with your hand, give it a wash through by hand rinse it well and put it out on the rope, it should work as it does for me, my partner says I need a bib, Think I coukld teach him to knit me 1. lol

Shampoo is good for stain removals.

And excellent on mens collars.

I’m sure you can get there redbirdy! Sometimes following a pattern can be a little tricky,(it took me ages to work out how to do decreases in crochet) but there are lots of helpful people on here. The pattern is just a variation on a granny square, joined together and then the edging done. I’m not very good at explanations but I’m willing to try and give a hand.

Thanks for the tips on stain removal, I shall go and try them out. Can I have a bib too please!
