Is some of that there wool with Swarovski crystals embedded into it - sounds lovely - and a snip at £75 a skein (50g I think).

I’ve not seen it - only heard about it - but I like wool (cor never eh?) and I like Swarovskis so the two together… Whoowoo!  I am tempted to google it but am afraid that if I actually see some on a website selling it I would do something terrible like order some.  Then Hubby would be chopping my arms off atthe shoulder!!

There’s others I like but that one sounds amazing.

So come on everyone - what’s on your wish list for WHEN we all win the lottery??

No to be honest I couldn’t open it either - but I will try and go to it direct.  Maybe Oli’s tweakings yesterday have bu**ered up our links!

I think there’s something wrong with the site because I can’t go in from my homepage or by typing the address in the bar…

Think hubby warned them? LOL

That sounds nice Leigh,if i won the lottery i would buy a wool shop for me and my mom so we have the wool and patterns there ready to help ourselves to and of course my friends on here would be all welcome to come and help themselve to free wool and patterns as much has they could carry. If only,we can dream cant we? grin

I saw some lovely stuff at the Knit & Sew show in Birmingham a while back.  It was a wool/silk (I think) blend with a strand of real silver twisted in with it.  Beautiful, really beautiful - can’t remember the price (it was a while back!) but I think it was about £15 or £25 for a 50g skein.  Gorgeous stuff, really soft and glittery.

I might have to see if I can find it again and do a hat/scarf or possibly cuffs/neckband it - don’t think I could afford a whole garment!

LOL

Umm know that feeling well!  IF I mention winning the lottery to a friend who owns the wool shop near me she says “ooh you can buy this shop if you win!!!” I think the reality of owning a wool shop outweighs the dream of it!

As much as I would love to own a shop full of scrummy yarn I think a bit of homework on what makes it sucessful would be called for. That is my excuse anyway for touring round the UK and maybe USA visitng all those lovely shops I see advertised in the mags. Then of course you would have to by samples of what yarn you would like to stock in your dream shop.
Do you think I dream of this often??????
