Let's Knit Magazine - Your knitting, your style

Hi Girls, have just spent two hours sorting out my wardrobe and bagging up stuff for the charity shop and came across quite a few things I am getting rid of.

Am taking some of my cross stitch mags to a friends tomorrow but I have got the following if anyone wants to give them a good home.  Maybe someone out there has got a copy LK 1 or 2 I could have a look at. Will promise to post it back.

Simply Knitting Issue May 2008 (Got Alan Darts Mouse Circus Part One and some fifties style projects)
Knitting - Issue June 2008 (more of designer knit, not my kind of stuff).

I wonder, somewhere along the way of this forum, whether we could organise a “magazine swap” or something like that so that we can collect magazines we have missed or just for inspiration.  What do you all think!

Much as I like the idea of a magazine swap I rarely get rid of mine I am like Scrooge, hoarding mags, patterns and wool. This is why my den is bursting at the seams and “HWN” does!!!. I also have artist stuff, embroidery stuff, fabrics, ribbons, tapestries, etc etc etc.........   and my beloved books.  

Hi Gill, I am like you because I have Patchwork & Quilting Books, Cross Stitch Books, Massage Therapy Books (Am qualified),Knitting Books, (not many of those though). I draw, write short stories and love gardening and decorating.  Sometimes, I even cook a meal (SOMETIMES).

oooo I like your style.
We had lunch out so “HWN” made do with a sandwich. Of course that means that any minute now.....after Corrie he will be raiding the cake tin.!!!

I don’t have LK 1 or 2 but I’d love to read 3 or 5 - they were on issue 6 before I discovered the joys of LK! - Getting a subscription for my birthday so I’ll never miss an issue again!

Cor when I saw “Therapy” then I thought I was in luck then saw it actually said “Massage therapy”

I think we are all alike I have all of the golden hands magazines, I have the readers digest book of crafts it was my mums. In th rd there is a stitch herringbone have has anyone done something similar as it looks good
