Hi Lelly, welcome to the forum smile

With circular needles, no matter what you do, you can’t get the kinks out of the really cheap ones.  It’s all about the plastic they use for the cable.

Addi turbo’s are very good but a bit more expensive and not available everywhere but you should be able to get Prym or Inox needles which are just as good.  I picked up some new Prym circulars last week at my LYS that have a soft cable just like the Addi’s and are half their price.

My advice is if you have a LYS, take the needles out of the packets and check them before you buy them.  smile

just a quick reply as i really shoud,nt be here!i bought the aforementioned needles and soaked them[just the plastic wire bit]i,ve knitted a few rows and they are so much better than the other ones, once i have some money to spare imight invest in more grin
