Let's Knit Magazine - Your knitting, your style

I am looking for a pattern which was given in Woman, Woman’s own or the like in the 80’s.  It was a retro pattern based on 1950’s woman’s jumpers, short & boxy.  One was white with a large red snowflake yoke design, the other a mink with a graphic design of black crosses and cream and orange squares on a mink colour background.  The distinguishing feature of the latter jumper was the welts were knitted black & ecru stripes.
My reason:  My mum made me the latter design but only in acrylic wool which eventually got washed out of shape.  I would like to make it again in wool if only I could find the pattern.  After my mum passed away I searched her stash of patterns and magazine pullouts but could’nt find it.  I am searching through old photos to find any of me wearing said jumper so I can post it to help in my search.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, I have stacks of vintage n pull out patterns from magazines.I am off out in a min but will have a look through patterns when i arrive back if no one else has found what you are looking for before then..

I will have a look through my books but I never bought those two mags. My mum got Woman but never kept any of them
Is it possible that your mum made the colours up to suit what she had in her wools or do you remember seeing the pattern with those colours???
I am going out shortly but will look when I get back. It is even possible that I have the original!!!!!! 

No the mink/ecru orange & black was exactly as the magazine.  That’s what attracted me to it in the first place.  I’ll keep trawling my photos in the meantime.

HI again Jacquie, I have been up in my den for a couple of hours but nothing has come up yet like you described, but I had fun finding these from the 50s and 80s. I can have a better look later as my den is in a muddle as usual!!!

It’s on my Flickr pics now.  This photo was December 1987 so I guess it was in one of the woman/womans’own mags of that year.  I know it was not Woman’s weekly for a fact as this would be the obvious choice.

However, Gill I love 1,2 & 3 of your patterns, especially No.3 with the hat & gloves.  Is it possible to send me a copy. PLLEEEEEAAAASSE!!
