I’ve found another excellent pattern for longish socks on two needles - they’re more bed socks really but I’m sure the formula could be applied to regulkar sock yarns. I’m not too sure where I got it from though :( The ones in Let’s Knit are fab, I’ll have to get started on them asap!

Hello newbie here. I’m knitting my first pair of socks at the mo. I’m using the ninja pattern from issue I can’t remember of Let’s Knit. Double pointed needles were a bit weird to start with but otherwise ok. Have got half a sock to go then finished. I’m quite taken with the jitterbug Popsicle yarn too. I can feel another pair of socks coming on…

I’m something of a sock virgin - but inspired by the baby socks in issue 3 of Let’s Knit, I’m pleased to report that one little miniature footwarmer is complete (although still waiting to be stitched up). However .... sock number two is still waiting to be cast on..... and you’ve given me the kick I need.
casting out or should that be on?
