HWN and I often travel down to Retford for the Market. We “Do” Worksop at the same time. Usually on Wednesdays, and I used to do lots of deliveries in the area.
I’m in Falkirk area, half an hour or so from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling by train.
I also did deliveries in Falkirk to the vetinary supply place on the trading est just off the motorway. Great little cafe there and the plumbers was another of my delivery stops.
Good to know that Retford is on the map, usually people ask me where it is! and yes, heidi, i do no torksey lock. Might bump into you gill, round the market.

OOO yes, just look for the shoes on Granny Gill. and all the colours because being a Libra I cant decide which one to wear so i often wear them all. That is when I hear “oh, mother!” hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe

Dont know. The place we go is above the jewellers in the corner of the market square, is that it? I dont do bingo, I am sorry to say that if the numbers dont come uo then I get bored and my attention wanders and I miss them. I havent played for donkeys years. I also never went to bingo halls because I dont smoke so I could never breathe in places like that, or pubs.
I know March a wee bit but my deliveries where Cambridge itself, Ely and Wisbech. My Son in Law is from Wisbech. The Cambridge and Norfolk, Suffolk area was one that I did on a regular basis.
Stockport city centre, and don’t I know it at the weekends! Cobdens (a pub, but I use the term loosely) across the road has a late licence Thursday through Sunday. And it’s LOUD!
Ooo! I know where that is it’s just around the corner from the rehearsal room of the band I play in! I have actually had a drink or two in Cobdens as well!!
