I decided to make my first project back into knitting a simple one that wouldn’t take too long to complete so I can look forward to the next item of course!  So I’m knitting a very pretty top with a frill down the front in pretty green Sirdar Just Bamboo - just the sort of thing you would find in Per Una I think.  I invested in new bamboo needles that I find absolutely amazing to knit with and I love the bamboo yarn - just hope there’s enough left for the pandas!

I already have some wool on order from the wool shop for a cardy and I am seriously tempted to make a felted bag too.  Oh and I’d like to tackle socks too. I can see this is going to become a problem just like in the old days when I had bags of wool hidden all over the place!

I like the sound of your top Sarnj...I have used the Sirdar Bamboo and liked it.  So...post a pic as you get on a bit with it...good luck.  I can see from you list of ‘things to do’ you are going to be back into knitting with a BANG LOL

Welcome back to the pins and one of the reasons I knit stuff is because PER UNA seem to be for sticks and not a more substantial figure!!!!!!!

Dont worry about stash-building thats what it is all about is,nt it????????? tongue laugh

I’m obviously in the right place with you guys then!  Makes me feel a bit less guilty.

I’ll have to search out a few more hidey holes to stash things in! :D

There is never any guilt for buying wool, I gave up smoking last year, so am probably spending less on wool than I was on fags !!! x janet
