I think she mentioned it was one of her boys birthday tomorrow so maybe shes getting prepared for that!

It roasting here ! I got up this morning and flung open every window in the house and i’m still melting, and I have to study ...grrr.. this will probably be our week of summer

probably!! drink lots of water to help your brain!

might be a better idea to close the curtains so i can’t see how nice it is outside and get off this forum lol !

Hi Cheryl, Don’t worry I haven’t dropped off the ends of the earth but thanks for worrying. Just trying to get last min bits etc for Zakks bday tomorrow. I had a super quick peek this morning but if I log on its fatal, I don’t get back off for hours!!!!.
I shouldn’t be here now loads to do still, the little man has decided he wants a bbq after school tomorrow so I’m off to pick him up from school in a bit and I will take the boys shopping and Marks going to pick us all up when he has finished work. The house and garden will have to wait til tomorrow.
How is everyone, the weather here is still hot but feels a little cooler today but I haven’t been sat out in it which I think has made a difference.
Natalie I’m glad you have received your pins, that was fast!! I’ll let you know as soon as they have arrived not that I’ll have chance to use them for a few days anyway.
I’ll try and pop back later. Bye

I haven’t been on much as we have been having all our window replaced last Friday and there was so much clearing up to do....so it put me in the mood for a good old spring clean....I was ‘unplugged’ for a couple of days so here I am back catching up with all the goings on…

Hi all, Hope the bbq goes well for you all Nicky.

I have had a garden day, the tiny pond was desparate for attention as soon as we see the sun it clogs up with that yukky green slime weed so I have been on my hands and knees fishing it all out and chucking it under the bushes. Then filled it up with clean water and the 3 fish look exstatic, there was frog spawn a few weeks ago but I think the fish ate it all as no sign of anything now! Well the hot shower was lovely to get rid of the pondy smells, washer is on, mousakka in oven so a glass of wine while I wait to eat and then knit for the rest of the day. Hair cut tomorrow am but will be looking in when I get back.

Don’t overdo it with the dalek Gill, I know how a tough knitting pattern can get to your finger joints.

Now would you ladies shhush with all your sun and hot weather chat!  I’m sitting here with my bodywarmer on to save having to put the heating back on again, brrr!

I have put my fire on as I am frozen. thank goodness for gas.
