I am still struggling with the Dalek...I.cords with 3sts dont half make your fingers sore. I am off to bed so O.PURPLE, try to stay out of mischief ...night nightxx

The dalek looks great!! Where did you get the pattern from? My youngest step son LOVES Dr Who and he’d be chuffed to bits if I made him a dalek. Please tell me where the pattern’s from!!!

HI SAM....the site you need is http://www.entropyhouse.com It,s a great pattern to follow but I still managed to make a mistake that I did,nt notice until far too late. Normally I would take my work back but as this is done on 4 pins (at least I used 4) I really could,nt face going back. And No1 daughter could not see where the mistake is anyway. 
I should know better by now than to knit a pattern when “HwN” is talking to me!!!!  In case you have not seen it before “HwN” is also known as He who Nags aka my other half.!!!!
No1 has asked for another Dalek but this time in lilac with purple bobbles. I am going to give my fingers a rest first

I have just been for another look and cant find the Dalek pattern but I will print one for you if you cant find it either.

Apparently, the BBC has put a stop to knitting patterns featuring their characters.  Most of the ones on Ravelry have been taken off.  Strangely crochet seems to have slipped through the net!

I wonder why? Perhaps it is something to do with copyright. The pattern I got came from the estate of Terry Nation and is from a fan effort according to the blurb. I found a pattern tonight before I came on t,forum for a crochet Dalek but I did,nt take a lot of notice of where it was so I will try to find it again

I found the tardis but when i clicked on it it had been removed.

Great CHERYL. Thankyou for finding that web, I could,nt remember where I had found it.......Senior moments I,m afraid. If anyone wants to do the pattern then I suspect a quick print off would be a good idea before the beeb spot it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will get No1 to photocopy mine so if anyone wants a copy they can pm me.

That’ll serve me right for not finishing reading all the posts! 

What a shame that they’ve taken the patterns off line. I had already printed/saved the dalek pattern months ago but never got round to doing the tardis...was trying to work out how to get the picture bigger to see the charts once they were printed.

The pattern wasn’t even being sold and it was copyrighted preventing unauthorised selling.
