That must be extremely annoying, I’m thinking of subscribing too, but I get it from local shop/post office, so want to support them as well, and she told me it was under the counter (lol) when I went in x Janet

Glad you’re all enjoying it!

Kathleenalice, do you mean the ‘Ginger’ silk top and the ‘Eloise’ dress?  ‘Ginger’ is given in sizes 12 - 16 (but may fit an 18 as well, it is rather stretchy) and the dress is in four sizes, from bust 81cm - 97cm smile

You’re right Sophie - I was being a bit blind with the dress! I’m still well over a 97cm bust though…

I think I’ll still up-size the top though cos I don’t want it to be tight, and I’m pretty tall as well as being chunky so I don’t want it to stretch out and shrink in length.

Fear not, you get used to up-sizing patterns when you have a bust like mine! Luckily this is mostly remedied by my naturally loose tension, but with things like skirts and tops I’d rather change down a size for the needles and keep everything nice and tight.

ha ra..I have at last got my copy, I persuaded a little shop round the corner to get some in, so then felt I should wait til they got them rather than buy it somewhere else. Arthur is at nursery, no customers at the mo so I’m off to the garden for 5 minutes peace!(i really should be catching up on bookwork!)

I got my copy today too.. when I went into the shop the lady had a big cart of magazines and was shelving them, I saw lets knit at the bottom and was debating weather to ask her or just grab one and run, I didnt want to mess up her cart so I asked her lol! I love the needles and especially the vest top on page 49, I think try to knit it, it’ll be my first ever top so i’m sure i’ll be back asking questions about the pattern.. it doesnt look too difficult tho, its just the turning bit that I dont really know how to do!

I’ve just been to Sainsbury’s and they haven’t got any!  I’ll have to try again tomorrow elsewhere.

I have decided to ask for a subscription for my birthday in August.
