Suse if it wasn’t such a great quote it wouldn’t be in the mag. I thought it hilarious the first time I read it, nice to know my sense of humour is in step with so many others, I do wonder at times!!!

Anthony Head does the narration for the Doctor Who confidential prog, which is on after Doctor who, so i make a point of listening to it with my kids !!

Talking of Dr Who… I vote for us raiding our collective stashes and making a Tom Baker esque scarf for David Tennant! lol Poor bloke’s so skinny, he must get cold!

i would have to knit a nice jumper with a gardening scene on it for ALAN TITCHMARSH as there is nothing better than watching a man with a tight bum bending over gardening- if you know what i mean!!

I love fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks has a fantastic style, I couldn’t get away with it but I wish I could. Knitting all those frills and flounces would take forever though, I hope you have a lot of patience!!!

I used to sing a few Stevie Nicks songs in my ‘band’ days,
My daughter was give a NewKids on the Block jumper when she was about 12ish, with NKOTB knitted in different colours all the way through it !! Have a photo of her holding it proudly,

A question to all you ‘youngsters’ does anyone know the song that was used to advertise the summer on BBC (I think) it had the words and the drumbeats on (again I think) loved it, but cannot find out what it was x Janet
