I was a bit disappointed Nicky as it has turned out quite big although I kept checking my tension with it being 100% wool.  I couldn’t stand to wear it myself....far too warm for me.  Since hitting the big M word....I run from anything wool rolleyes I did knit the 38/49 bust but maybe I should have done the smaller size...oh well long face

Hi NESSA You have my sympathies as we recently ended up with dodgy builders and they were even recommended. The person who did the deed was mortified when he saw what a pigs ear they made. We eventually threw them out and refused to pay, then they threatened us with bully boys and court so we said great see you there and we never heard from them again. They have since gone bust and scores of people are after them. We were then rescued by a lovely firm who put right all the damage and it even cost less than the original cowboys wanted. We were very lucky as we only paid a small deposite but a lot of people lost thousands.

I like the cardie, and I am hoping to get a start on one for myself this summer. I have got the wool but until I finish No1s project I don,t want to start another. The grandkids are back after a short trip south so they have been in and out through the day eating us out of house and home bless em!!!!!

We will see Gina and Liti tomorrow and then its the week end!!!!!!!!!!!!where did this week go??????????

ohh

Oh how annoying for you Nessa, why do these companies do their best to frustrate customers?!

Never mind, once the new windows are in and you’ve got everything sorted out again I bet you’ll be chuffed!

And the cardi looks lovely, very cosy. smile

Nessa you have probably ‘gone’ now but I am only just home from work.
The cardi is lovely, I do hope it looks nice on DiL - are you still going to offer it to her?

My heart goes out to you re the window people - being in disruption is so wearing however placid natured you are and you certainly come across as being generally a very placid soul. I hope the windows are worth waiting for.

Thinking about you good luck, Jane x

Tea makes me ill. It took me years to track down what was giving me the collywobbles and I was amazed to find it was tea. Now I only drink coffee and it has no effect at all.
NO COMMENTS from them at the back....... angry
