Just joined this morning, I thought I better make sure I could knit before joining the forum. I bought issue 2 of Lets Knit and I couldn’t knit so I’m really new at this but i’m loving it. Nearly finished my first project a poncho for my daughter, but have started knitting a shawl for my Nan.
I have 3 children Tallon who’s going to be 8 next week, Lily 6 and Flynn 3. Haven’t had much time till now as Lily is Autistic and Tallon has Dyspraxia so got my hands full but life is beginning to calm down. I’m into lots of crafts I like and needle work, card making to name a couple. i live in Yeovil Somerset and would love to meet other knitters aroud this area so if anyone is out there who could help me progress with my knitting would love to hear from you.

I hope to knit something for him at Christmas or his birthday as that gives me a bit of time. I’d love to knit him some house socks as his feet are always cold when he gets into bed.
