.....and a nice glass of chardonay....
Ok now Gill....now you’re heading for the divorce courts.
OH dear, just missed you Hwn just gone for a lie down in a darkend room, we are still tittering over ROY CROPPER!!!!
I feel so sorry for poor Roy...Haley has been gone for so long and he is in the clutches of that brazen lassie who works for him...and has wheedled her way into his flat above the cafe...he doesn’t stand a chance…
I’m doing my 9th seaweed scarf for a girl at work.
I have a cabled shrug that I started and got fed up with! I think I have ADKD (Attention defecit knitting disorder)
You still doing those damn things Kim?
If you have ADKD, I have that too… Currently got 8 things OTN in my knitting bag and I’ve just got needles to do a v neck sweater in Colinette point 5! I get fed up with doing the same thing all the time so I like to swap!

Crumbs, at least I’m not alone…
I’m currently in the middle of:
1 x Childs jumper in Cadenza (Colinette)
1 x Jumper for me in Jitterbug
1 x Teddy in some old suff I have lying about
1 x Sock in merino wool
1 x sock in scrappy wool just for fun
1 x baby sock from last month’s LK
And my new puppy ate all my lovely Brittany needles yesterday!!
GAH! You do love your pets but when they chew something that’s really precious to you, don’t you just want to kill them!? My rabbit recently ate through the leads to my phone so I had no landline for about 3 days! My dog (who now lives with my ex) chewed up my mobile phone, my glasses and worst of all, she managed to throrough unravel my knitting when I was knitting a scarf in Elle Plume - was a bugger to untangle and re-ball. Needless to say, she wasn’t popular that day!
our labrador was a terrible chewer when she was a pup: she chewed through one of the cables for the alarm system, chewed cupboard handles, chewed up the kitchen flooring, bit through a seatbelt in the back of the car, swallowed stones and had to have 3 ops to remove them from her intestines, and nibbled holes in the walls.
Now that I am a returning knitter I am making a concerted effort NOT to have loads of projects OTN as I know how bad I am for starting things and not finishing them. So, I have the sleeveless top that I started last month and the chenille scarf that I started about 7 or 8 years ago and which hasn’t even been out of its bag for about 10 months.
HI… you have just reminded me that I have a Fairisle jumper in my knit/sewing room that I started about fifteen years ago!!!!! must go find!!!!! wont fit me now though!!!!! might fit grandaughter.
Well just to let everyone see how manic I am, I have a differing project in a little basket (SOMETIMES A BIG BASKET)in every room in the house.
By my chair in the lounge though is always a special piece of work that is something on the pins just for me with my favourite yarn of the moment. At the moment I am kniting with some new silk aran and doing a necker because I have just had my hair cut short very short and my neck is now cold. haha

I got in such a tangle when I had: socks on the go (could not get the hang of them), a scarf, a baby outfit for a friend, squares for a blanket, crochet articles. I then decided - one at a time.
I’m trying to keep just one or two projects going at the most, I knitted the square for felting at the same time as the crossover cardigan, it is just garter stitch, so can watch telly at same time, I actually did a bit of decluttering the other week and found some ufo that i did way back in some horrible wool, so I cut my losses and got rid !! x Janet
