Hi girls,

Thought you might like to see the progress of my scarf and its just for me.

It has been frogged twice at the begining, thrown onto the bed with a few choice words and when I had finally got to grips with the lacy pattern, got distracted and had to frog two rows of colours because people wanted to have a conversation.

I have concluded that I sit in my bedroom, quietly and talk through the pattern as I go along and so far so good.

Love Sues

Hi Flowergirl,

I’m afraid its not blue, its red, lavender and brown.  I liked the green in the pattern colour choice but wanted to use up some odd wool.  Its bright and if I remember rightly, GILL said it sounded 70’s colour.

I am enjoying making it.

grin That looks brilliant! I do hope my subscription starts with issue 11 (I did ask for that one) as I would love to make this scarf.

If you haven’t received it already then I would ring and check so if it hasn’t started yet you still have time to go find one in the shops. They do tend to send out sub issues pretty quickly si if you haven’t received it yet it could well be it will start from the next issue because the sub wasn’t set up on time.

I like your scarf - it’s really pretty, and you’d never guess that it had been frogged!

I think we should all have “Leave me along, I’m knitting!” signs we can display so people GET THE HINT!!!

cool mad

Sash

Ps:  What pattern did the frog reply when he was asked what knitting pattern to use for a hat?  Ribbit, ribbit!

It was easy you just need to concentrate with it.

I used Patons DK which cost £1.29 per ball.  I bought a load a few weeks ago to make the christmas stockings from Jane Greenhowes Book.

Its nearly finished, will post it on here when its done.
