I was just reading a couple of other threads and this came into my head (possibly also inspired by reading Divas Don’t Knit)

IF YOU COULD KNIT FOR A CELEB, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHAT WOULD YOU KNIT THEM?

By celeb, I mean pretty much anyone - film stars, tv stars, singers, writers, sports stars… you name it!

I’m going to have a little thunk to myself first - soooo many “celebs” I could quite happily clothe in my wooly creations!  So in the mean time, I’m going to ponce off your imaginations!

Right now I’m thinking about knitting a nice snuggly jumper for Matt Stevens (England rugby player) who I find rather lush!  Would require quite a lot of wool to get over those big shoulders though and probably some adjustment to the neck size! LOL

Is that the one in the piccie you have as your avatar?

Thinking about it, since NKOTB have just reformed, I’d have to knit a big chunky sweater for Joe!  I was totally in love with him when I was 15.  Although now I have a soft spot for Donnie so I’d make him a nice beanie hat too! LOL The rest of them can freeze! pmsl!

I may actually knit a scarf or something for the lovely Mr Shane Lynch.  I followed Boyzone for years and they’re kind of like mates now.  I last saw Shane in January and he’s into scarves and things so I might just knit him one and take it with me to the tour in May! LOL  Would be funny!  I’m sure his face would be a picture! wink

Here’s a piccie of Matt Stevens… phwoargh!  See what I mean about the neck and shoulders! LOL  Gotta love him though - plenty to get hold of!  And you wouldn’t get any kind of trouble if you had him on your arm!

Sorry for being a dirty so and so but I think I would leave the shoulders and torso bare and knit a thong instead that could be unravelled with one little tug........

Well yes… The thought of a knitted bow tie and nothing else springs immediately to mind but I was trying to be reasonably clean at 11am on a Thursday! lol

WHO IS HE???????  GRANNY GILLxx confused

rolleyes I’m like you Gill and haven’t much of a clue to most of the celebrities...or boy bands....BUT..don’t you think Roy Cropper could do with a new sweater to cheer him until his Haley gets back from wherever she is supposed to be....so come on girls...throw into the pot all your left over yarns in all colours and we’ll do one for poor old Roy.  Oh.... and if any of you have an old shopping bag lying around...we’ll put the sweater in it as he might be needing a new one of those too:-S

Mine would definitely be a nice fitted cardigan for Russell Brand… he already wears them so I’m sure he’d appreciate it!

Hmmm, I’m usually considering de-clothing Julian McMahon not putting more clothes on him!
