Hi - Just a dull grey morn here in the central belt of Scotland.  Middle of doing some ironing but stopped of a rest lol.  Had to rip out my cardi yoke yesterday - read the pattern wrong - hope to catch up today - I will not - I will not have any else on the needles till this cardi is finished - honest !!!! been asked to knit baby hats for charity. Oh well.

Morning all.

I’m exhausted as usual!  Why is Sunday always such a slog?  Got washing on, clothes in the tumble dryer (the sun’s come out but the clothes out there earlier this morning were damp still plus I’m drying towels at the moment and they go all crunchy on the line!) and the house is a mess.  My hands are hurting again - seems to be pretty constant at the moment - and my ankle’s playing up too so I’m slow on my feet.  Therefore the housework can wait again and I shall try and relax and do some knitting or crochet (believe it or not, I find the crochet less stressful on my wrists than the knitting).  Got so much to do but I’ll probably end up falling asleep!

Have a good day all.  Bye Bye August and hello September - time flies doesn’t it!

Got the cat back from her hols today, she hasnt been well while we were away, got bitten before we went and another abscess came up on her head last week, cattery sorted it though! She is pleased to be home. Got washing out, but looks like rain, so dryer it is! Still got plenty to sort through from hols, bags of stuff with heaven knows what, it will be like Christmas opening them all!

Sorry you are suffering Rowena. No1 says that the Arnica gel seems to be working. She works in an office and is typing all day so her hands and wrists some days are agony for her. Have you tried it???? Although you seem to be having far more severe symptoms than she does.

Think I’ve tried pretty much everything!  I’ve used Arnica for ages for muscle pains and I’ve also got ibuprofen gel and Deep Heat but while I get some temporary relief, I only need to do a little typing or lift something and it hurts again.  It’s more of a constant ache than sharp pains.  I’m not even convinced it’s carpal tunnel anymore cuz yesterday I had pain up to my elbows!  Seeing doc again on 8th so will report all of this to him, not that I expect he’ll do anything much except bung me on steroids.

Hello everyone
