Hi all.

Looks fairly bland out today here.  It’s greyish but not wet and I don’t know if it’s cold or not cuz I’ve not ventured out!  Thinking of taking Aston down to the library in a while to get some new library books and then pop into Aldi’s for some cheap fruit!  I’m going to have to avoid the charity shops now you’ve all said about the bargains.  I’m trying not to spend any more money on wool etc from now on because I have tons and it’s just sat there.  I need to try and save some money to hopefully go to America next year to see my friend and maybe take Aston to Disneyland.  And now you’ve all gone and tempted me again! Grrrr!

Now all I need to do is sit here and write the umpteen letters I need to send out to get info for the solicitors so I can post them while we’re out as well.

Hi everyone

Crap weather here, car has been in for mot and service, tomorrow we are off to a wedding in Dumfriesshire, so might take my knitting for journey up there, not sure how long it takes but i will be able to do a bit.  Hope everyone gets through today ok.

Hello All

I’m back.  Been busy knitting, made my niece a cardigan, made myself a jumper; been on holiday to Pembrokeshire; school holidays have kept me been busy when I’ve not been in work; been busy catching up on my reading (Marian Keyes - This Charming Man fantastic); been trying to get a cheap holiday for October half term abroad on tinternet and I think that’s about it.
I’ll have to read up on what I’ve been missing, i will be butting in where appropriate.

Welcome back !

Popped into Castleford today so got some cotton to do some more bath mitts, x Janet

I am back from my gadding about the countryside an got a few knitty bargains at the charity shops(sorry Rowenah)   Some books, some patterns and a big cone of gorgeous pink wool that will make several items for Gina and Liti ...each!!!
I also found more DIFFERENT wools at Wilkinsons from what we have in our local shop. Still at 99p BOGOF.

Sorry to hear about the cat. No1 was devastated when one of her cats had to be put to sleep. We have two and they are great friends for us. Always hanging around waiting to be fed!!!
Right then......off for a pootle.....
