Let's Knit Magazine - Your knitting, your style

My new LET’S KNIT has just arrived, Oh my god I’m so excited, not quite hyperventilating but will be if I don’t calm down. Stuff the housework I’m off to make a coffee and have a read. Will be back to keep you informed of how fab it is!!!!!

Is it due out in the shop today Nicky...I have an order at my local newsagents and they’re not answering the phone.  Is yours delivered by post....now you’ve got me going too.....

Yup, saw the postman coming back from the school and managed to resist the urge to accost him in the street but only just! I was listening out for the door while hanging my washing out but didn’t hear it so nearly tripped when I went past the front door and it was on the mat.
Lovely little girls cardi, up to 6 years, just right for Maya!

Our subscribers should get their copies today or tomorrow, with the shops getting in on Friday Glad you’re enjoying it!

Can’t wait till Friday...think I might have to subscribe if it means getting my mag quicker each month…

just got my copy, the post comes so late out here in the countryside, but it was worth the wait! It’s my first issue, I didnt buy the mag in the shops because it was sealed, and i don’t like to buy knitting mags if i can’t see the contents...especially as this looked like it was more marketed to beginners. But then i found the trial ‘3 issues for £1’ subscription offer, so i thought i’d give it a go. It does look a little too basic for me, but i do love the lace shawl...I’m certainly glad i got the trial sub, and i imagine i’ll be buying it in future from time to time.

I noticed suse and another couple of forum members get a mention in there too!

you’re so lucky, hopefully my sub copy will be here tomorrow… I cant wait!

Don’t worry Oma, I’m fine, have even done some housework. Have just been trying to upload some pics again but AARRRGGGHHH. Have created accounts on flickr and photobucket but I can’t see how to link the m to here.!! I know it’s probably me being very thick but it will have to wait. Have some more jobs to do before getting the boys. I will keep trying I promise.

I will get mine friday,what are the summer tops like?

Nicky what I did with my photos....Here is what I did and it worked for me. 
1.  Go to the pictures you have added to Flickr.com

2.  Click on the picture you want to post and it open in a larger window.

3.  Up above this picture is a row of things you can do with the picture which is open.

4.  Click on ‘All sizes’ and choose ‘thumbnail’.  You will then see a smaller picture open.  Right click this picture and click ‘save as’.  Come out of Flickr and open your ‘My docs/my pictures’ where you store your pictures on your computer.  There now should be the picture from Flickr in your file.  This is the one you can upload onto your forum post by using the ‘Browse’. 

I don’t know if the other have a different way or a quicker way but the above worked for me...have a try and I hope it works for you.  Good luck Nicky.

Sorry you got that twice Nicky...I’m getting a lot of error messages when I try to post..in fact...look at your PM’s...I have sent you the same instructions there in case you don’t see this post...I’m babbling now Nicky…

I did yesturday as i have been meaning to for months. Also if you do it now and do tHe 1120 every 3 issues DIRCT DEBIT you save 1120 a right bargin but says in mag ends at end of may so get in there girl.
Next month I will be like Nicky hiopperventeralting haveing a heart attack but at least it will be in privisy of my own home
But this mnonth i have to do it all in public on the bus on the way to whsmiths.
THEY BETTER HAVE IT IN FRIDAY MORNING OR I WILL BE ACOSSTING THE SALES ASSISTANT AND LETS SAY IT WILL NOT BE PRETTY.
