Well I am hoping to finish my jacket by next week and will need to block, press and sew up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s been 20years since I last knit a garment and think I must have got my Mum to finish for me, so I got the ABC foam blocks, the pins, I am using Sirdar Click dk which has quite a good wool content so do I steam press damp or what? Also back sticth or matteress stich?

All advice gratefully recieved kiss

Nope, me neither. I have got a lacey scarf I keep meaning to block, but thought I’d just press it rather than going through the whole rigamarole of blocking properly.  I got as far as buying myself some suitable blocking pins, just can’t be bothered.

I’ve blocked a few things mainly Freyas cardis but can’t say that have made that much difference, and with items being small wasn’t that hard doing it, but don’t know whether would do a big item x Janet
