she thinks that her hands would get too hot in them…

...No1 would like to know how you get on over the next couple of months so if you can keep us posted that will be great. smile

I have to say, I’ve not yet felt my hands were hot wearing the gloves.  They are designed to keep your body heat in to improve blood circulation but you don’t get sweaty hands.  I have bone pain rather than muscular pain (although I suspect it’s actually neurological) but no burning sensations.  If the arnica gel is helping, there may well be another herbal remedy which can be ingested that will help No1.  I’ll have a look in my handy herbal books (I did a course you know!)

In the meantime, here are some ‘testimonials’ about the gloves that might help you Handeze Gloves Recommendations

I’ve finished my Olympics project!  Hoorah!  Cast on the day after the opening ceremony and cast off the day before the closing ceremony!  How good is that!?  The only thing I’ve ever finished that quickly was my Peru tanktop!

Piccy to follow

Finished socks!  Woohoo!  I feel a bit like that Austrailian lad who pulled off an amazing last round dive to steal the gold medal away from the Chinese!

I hand washed the socks last night and they’ve gone all fluffy and lovely and soft!  I think Aston’s going to love them!  And they didn’t even use up half of the hank of wool I got from Knitting Goddess!  So I can make him another pair, possibly two more!

Well done on the gold medals, ladies!  I unfortunately failed to get a silver or a bronze!! Think I was being rather ambitious tackling a project when I knew we were going away twice.  I did take my project (socks) with me and finished the first sock whilst on the Eurostar going to Belgium, I started my second sock on the way home and took it with me to Devon on our camping trip.  Didn’t get as much done as I hoped and am just turning the heel, so not too far to go, hopefully will get them finished before the boys go back to school next week.
