I totally agree.  The good thing is that it feels like Tuesday, but it’s really Wednesday.  The days at work are dragging so much and I can’t wait for school to start again.

Know the feeling...been there doing it right now. It will be one heck of a long week

It must be one of these days ladies,i am bored as well.

its all down to the weather, so pick up those needles and the cheeriest colour you can find anf knit your way back to if not happy content.

With al the wonderful things to knit, sew or crochet, visit, watch or listen to.... WHY ARE PEOPLE BORED.

Come on people...there are loads of things to do and if you are work think of what you can do when you get home.
OK so there is housework, not interesting admitted, but try to use it constructively.  Ironing....thinking time.
Cooking.....thinking time to plan other things like party food for a treat.
Washing ....all that lovely clean smelling washing blowing on the line.

Oh, dear don’t get me started.......I am just one of those people who is never bored...flummoxed about what to do first is my problem as I was only saying this morning to “HWN” when he complained because I bought more wool and a book of patterns. There are just not enough hours in a day for me.

I am with you Gill but just to make sure I am not bored going to see Mama Mia sad to say I won’t be knitting in the cinema but will be in the car going!!!!!!!!!!!!
My day off so making the most of it just had a great lunch! ok so I have to work weekends but it’s great to have time off in the week!

I wish I was bored, lol.  Met Mad Mother - now I have to tell you she is comfortable, gets a company pension which is linked to inflation and a state pension, but boy is she careful.  Now some of the things she does make me smile. For instance buying a small pizza, cutting it into wedges, then freezing them so that she could take out a couple of slices and not waste any, or buying a 52lb bag of onions even though she is on her own, then giving any visitors she had a couple to take with them!  Some of them make me embarrassed - like putting a brick in her loo cistern so as not to waste water, and then only flushing if she does a number 2 (ewwwww).
But she does things that make me angry - she will not spend money on new shoes.  She regularly scouts the charity shops and buys “bargains”.  Today, for the third time in just a couple of months, we started walking around town when she had to stop in discomfort then pain, because the latest “bargain” were cutting into her feet.  Could I persuade her to buy a decent pair of comfy shoes, could I heck.  Into the nearest charity shop, bought the cheapest pair they had (which still didn’t fit) then limped and hobbled around the town.  She has savings and dividends coming out of her ears, but even so I offered to buy her a decent pair as a present ... no she is stubborn and would rather endure the pain than concede defeat!
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRgh.
A pair of bloody shoes would only cost £20 ish ......

wow!!!!there is a lot of bored people out there,well I could have been one but decided to clean/sort out all my wool stash and after about hour half wish I never started but I was gobsmacked!!! by all the wool and neddles/crochethooks ect I have!!! but I found some lovely crochet thread and wool so now I’m on the hunt to make something ???what I don’t know yet, I’m still looking for something to catch my eye lol

I am not so bored now,more p****d off than anythink,the bloke came for my boiler,he has to get another part,he never told me it would stillmake a noise,its driving me crackers,never mind should not complain but i am fed up of keep ringing them,i pay my rent on time they should do it.
Sorry rant over.
