OMG I finally have 2 s***s yipee I did think I might have second s*** syndrome as I had three singles but now I have a pair!

It’s a lovely feeling isn’ it?!  I had my hand made socks on yesterday and my feet felt lovely all day long!

Well done! But does that mean you still have 2 orphans?  Are they going to get little socky friends or are you going to throw them together and claim that they are a pair, just not identical?

PS:  There is a way of knitting 2 socks at a time but it seems to involve something very fiddly with 2 circular needles - think I’ll stick to one at a time!

Is there such a thing as first sock syndrome?  I finally turned the heel of one I started a week ago.  I think it’s because its for no 1 son - he has such big feet, if it was for me the pair would be done by now

Hi don’t know how to get a pink box thingy but yes Sash they will all get mates and I have the wool for another 2 pairs!

The first pair was not a very good pattern and the wool I was using whilst fantastic meant it difficult to see what I was doing, so I did another pair different pattern but got the concept better, knitted the second to make the pair, then knitted a little sock with the left over from the first sock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! confused so am I but you asked girt
