I hadn’t expected to hear from anyone after quite a long time since posting. As you can see, I don’t bother with the forum much, but it does prove useful at times.
Whereabouts are you, what brings you to Norfolk if you’re not local? I am not the world’s best knitter, in fact I am having to take a break from anything like that as I have done too much and caused problems with my thumbs and forearms. Shouldn’t be on here either!!
I suspect you are a lot younger than me… just something about your reply makes me think you are probably no older that your thirties… aah, those were the days! I am almost bus pass age… does that bother you if we are to get in touch. Are you looking for meeting up and so on, because that’s not really what I am looking for.. .bit of a grumpy old woman that’s me...!
Hi, i am nearer kings lynn and moved here a year ago due to hubbies job. i too am not the worlds best knitter but trying to do other items other than scarves, as i donate them very year to the norwich and norfolk blind society xmas fair, this will be my second year and they went well last year but would like to do other items, have just got a pattern for a golden retriever dog which i thought would be appropriate for the charity, but haven’t started it yet, but hoping it is easy.
Yes you are right i am 38 and no your age doesn’t bother me why would it! No we don’t have to meeet if you don’t want to although i am hoping i can meet fellow knitters in the area. look forward to chatting to you, Donna xx
