There’s been loads of little bits and pieces in Let’s Knit - have a little look.  This website has a couple of little things which would probably sell well “Penny” and “Posy” (see the Home page on this site for details) Penny could be made as a handbag mirror protective bag (just get a cheap handbag mirror in Boots or Superdrug to check for sizing) which I am fairly sure will sell well on a stall, and “Posy” could be used to hold a small bag of smelly stuff as suggested on here, but personally I think getting a pocket pack of tissues in there would be more practical and probably more likely to sell.  If you have quite a lot of wool in a neutral colour you could make a placemat set - there’s one on here but it’s crochet, but you could look at it for sizes.  Hope this has been helpful.

Ah yes but I looked at the patterns before suggesting them as I didn’t know your skill level - they look pretty darned easy I gotta say!  Pretty much just knit knit knit some more!  Good luck with them all and if I have any more bright ideas I will let you know.  You could also try a carrier bag sock - a long “scarf” like piece of knitting then a slither of knitting folded over and sewn to the top to make a handle?  If you can manage making holes (intentional ones that is!) in your knitting you could omit the handle and just make a row of holes at the top of the bag to create a drawstring.  Anyway gotta go but will let you know if I get any more bright ideas! smirk

Hi
How about slipper socks. They are done on 2 needles and fit all sizes.Pattern freely available free on internet.Do a search. One version is aunt maggies but they are a bit ugly. You want just the basic version.I have the pattern but not the wevbsite I got it off.Really quick and easy to knit.Mary at Knitwitz sells pattern on ebay but for £3 for a pattern you can get free it is a bit much. But if you look at her patterns you will know what to look for.She calls it classic slipper sock designed by her.Yeah right!!
I also make pocket tissue holders.A rectangle sewn in middle leaving a slit for tissues. Also mobile ipod covers are basic shape.
Good luck for a good cause.

Hi, I sell easy knitting patterns for cakes and tea cosies. They are really cute and people love them - they raise lots of smiles. My cupcake pattern and bumblebee cosy have appeared in Let’s Knit magazine.

I have just knitted a batch of cakes to help raise money for charity, they sell really well.

Take a look in my etsy shop (link below) and if you like the patterns send me a private email and I will send them to you by email (no cost). The patterns are copyrighted but I allow finished items to be sold.

Yep, you need to use two strands together. If the pattern says one ball then just wind off half of the ball into a second ball & then use the two balls together. Alternatively, buy a second ball and make two hats.
