Half way to the finish line.  Had to substitute the yarn with Elle Mexican wave http://www.rkmwools.co.uk/product.aspx?intPID=1502&intPRID=1&intPBID;=&intPCID=170&intURL=3&intContentID=3

(gorgeous acrylic).  Worked well *knocks on wooden knitting needles*.

Almost dropped a stitch but saved it.  Eleven lines to go.  First pattern from LK that I’ve done.

Found another dropped stitch AFTER I cast off but fixed it.  All in all I don’t think it’s too bad for a first magazine pattern, and first attempt at this type of increase.

How did you find the first bit of the pattern? I’ve just started it and I found it really messy and am not sure whether to carry on with it. I’ve had my manos yarn for ages and want to knit something really lovely with it!

I found it o.k, but that may be that I had switched to a 4mm acrylic yarn.  I tried it about 7 times with a bamboo yarn and it was just too slippy.

Good Luck
