LOL Hi All

I was wondering if anyone can help? I am looking for the copy of the cafeteria that I think was in issue 2 of Let’s Knit. I’m really annoyed with myself as I can find all my other issues except that one. MY hubby is always moaning about me having my magazine lying around so maybe this is pay back LOL.

I was hoping to make the cover as a christmas pressie and as I am not the most experienced knitter I thought that I better give myself plenty of time. (I have also got to knit a piglet scarf for my daughter and crochet a top for a friend - I don’t know why I do these things to myself)

I hope that someone can help?

Is it the cafetiere cover in issue 3 you wanted?  I’ve got issues 2 and 3 - I can scan the pattern for you and email it to you.  PM me with your email address.

Oops - just looked… Cafetiere cover and mug hugger are in Issue 1 and then theres a hugger for a disposable coffee cup in issue 2.

Let me know which ones you want.

I knitted the cafetiere cover that I think you’re talking about, Craftycat, take a look in my Ravelry projects.

It’s quite a soothing knit in moss stitch, so as long as you can knit and purl you’ll be fine.  I can scan the pattern for you if you’d like?

Hi

Thanks for that but I have already been sent the pattern by another helpful member of the forum.

If you can answer another query though. Do you have to knit it with 2 balls of wool at the same time?

Yep, Maria, 2 balls or strands of wool at a time. A little fiddly at first, but you soon get used to it.
