I’m quite pleased with this as it’s the first time I’ve knitted in the round, using a circular needle and dpns.

O thats really cute! I love the colours smile

I haven’t been brave enough to try dpns or circulars yet they look a bit scary and have lots of tangle potential I think but you make me want to try them looking at that adorable hat!

yes it’s absolutely lovely.  I am a bit of a hat girl, so have got quite a few.  When I had a very quick browse this morning on one of the free pattern sites (can’t remember what one sorry!) they had a burgundy hat, with a burgundy strip of eyelash yarn going round it about 2 or 3 inches from the bottom, then the same yarn as the top bit again at the bottom, then they’d felted it.  Ooh we wants one my preccciiiooooouuussss....  It was lovely!  Maybe one in Twilleys Freedom Spirit coming up for the winter,,,,???  Umm there’s a thought.

Just had another look and its not on a free patternsite at all, its on a link from one of them but its just gota pic of it which is weird, surely you’d want to buy or knit it if you’ve seen it.  But the place is in the good ole (USA) so perhaps they presume people will travel there.  I go quite far for good yarn, but I suspect that’s a bit too far!
