Let's Knit Magazine - Your knitting, your style

Hi Everyone,

As you may or may not know, National Knitting Week is coming up in October!

It’s a great excuse to flaunt our fave hobby to all those “don’t-know-what-they’re-missing-non-knitters” and show off our skills. 

I was just wondering whether anyone was planning to go to/organise any exciting events to mark the occasion?

Gissa chance .....only just got used to the fact that we are halfway through 2008.   Where I live there is nothing to do with knitting other than a few wrinklies like me. There is unlikely to be anything going on so I would have to travel.

Good God!  OCTOBER !!!!! NExt you’ll be using the C word!

I don’t think anything gets sorted out here- our LYS said something about it on its website last year but other than that I don’t know!  Sorry!!

Now look I don’t want to be in the middle of a hoo ha again.  I love it but even I think talking about it this early is a bit premature.

And yes, I am talking about Christmas - nothing else!!

Anyone know exactly what week it is?

Last year it was 13th - 21st.

Yes it’s the 12th - 19th this year.
