Hi,

I’ve just noticed a huge cobweb going from my vacuum cleaner across to the door frame, hmmm, wonder if I’ve been knitting too much?????  Better put the vacuum cleaner round before the next Let’s Knit comes at the end of this week.  Wasn’t it Quentin Crisp who said ‘After 4 years the dust doesn’t get any thicker’?

Am going to buy my son’s girlfriend some yarn and needles for her birthday as she wants me to teach her to knit, she wanted to start on socks, but I persuaded her to do a scarf first.

Bye for now

I’ve got a huge (wait for it!) thing in the corner of a cupboard in my utility - not a clue what it is - can’t even remember but hubby said Saturday, after I had gone off of here - cor remember that?  You used to use that.  I told him straight don’t be daft - that can’t possibly be a knitting implement it’s covered in dust…

I hate when they invent new fangled ideas then don’t give us the person too use it. I mean come on we don’t stop knitting just to learn something that somebody else should be doing. Share and shar alike I say. I’ll knit you clean.  wot u think.

Janet I agree with you a scarf would be a better option for starters. fun fur and big needles maybe!

ACTUALLY...Quentin Crisp said it was 7yrs and I have spent the years since tryin to prove it. Unfortuately SOMEONE, he knows who he is, will write the date in it mad  However, No1 who lives alone except for 2 cats has proof the QC was right!!!!!  grin

Oh and by the way (please whisper- I am)

Please don’t tell darling hubby that it is possible to “knit too much”.  Or I will have to resort to low tactics and tell him that certain other things are being done too much too....

big surprise

When my partner asks me to clean up instead of knitting i usually reply ‘But darling don’t you want (Putting WIP in here) to be finished in time?’ It usually shuts him up besides i work more hours than he does and i earn more money therefore i should get more time to knit!!!!! Thats my mini rant over with.
