...what would you make?

Personally I love the Discworld books and I’d love to make a ‘Luggage’ toy.  Maybe one day I’ll try and make one… don’t fancy knitting all those legs though.  And I’d have to make a Nanny Ogg too!

My son loves Thomas the Tank Engine so maybe I should knit one of the engines from the show! lol Would certainly work out cheaper than buying all the bloomin’ toys!

i ve knitted Iggle Piggle & Upsie Daisy from In the Night Garden for Alfie.
My eldest would love the Adipose from Dr Who- the pattern is on Ravelry but its crochet- so im trying my best to learn it so i can make him one!
Dobby from Harry Potter would be cool- that is the book Dobby and not the rubbish one on the film!

I think you’re brave knitting the ITNG characters!  I did find a knitting pattern for an Adipose but can’t remember where.  Was a free pattern, obv.  I gave it to a friend who knitted it for her daughter.  I’ve got the crochet pattern as well but I can’t crochet!

Yeah!  That cartoon rocks!  Me and my old flatmate had a couple of the mugs - Blossom and Buttercup!  Had the keyring too!  They’d be good to do as Amigurumi I reckon.... again, have to learn to crochet! DARN!

I’ve been looking for ‘Dora the Explorer’ patterns to knit a sweater for Maya...although if she wears anything else with D on it she might be taken for her.  She wears D socks and panties and t shirts...she just adores Dora..

There should definitely be more pagan designs!  I agree there!

I’m on a Terry Pratchett fans group on Ravelry.  They did a “Pratchgan” for TP and there are some fab Discworld themed squares.  Other than that, I don’t know… A few people have made dolls of Lord Vetinari and Death… have a look and see if anyone’s put up their pattern.

Am I the only one who finds the In The Night Garden creatures a bit creepy?  I hate them.

I would have to do Pokemon characters for James.  Could someone knit me a Ewan McGregor doll please?
