Hi Cheryl...I got my SK this morning...there are lovely little butterfly clips in it. Gill must have got hers days ago as she told me about the clips.
Weather here is just horrible and Bill is working until teatime and then ...wait for it..BOWLING !! Yes is this rain...they are mad....however they say the game can’t be cancelled as it holds up next weeks match...I still think they are bonkers and can’t see any enjoyment in standing there throwing bowls and getting soaked. I’ll stick to my knitting....much more cosy and comfortable.
I got my SK subscription last week, great free gift but I’m not so sure about the patterns!
It’s grey and dull here today which just about matches my mood. I didn’t get to sleep till 4am so am feeling grotty because of that. Also just found out that school are taking my computers away so what should have been a nice return in September is going to be s**t. I’m feeling down because I went to visit my grandma in respite care last night and she was in a real mess. She’s getting confused and is so frail and unsteady on her feet. Just thinking I might cheer myself up with a trip to the chippy for lunch but that’s bad as I have a bridesmaids dress to get into in october. Hope everyone is having a better day than me!

I’M SO EXCITED CHERYL....just sat down a wee while ago to look at my SK mag...and now I know what I am going to use that Patons green cotton for (in my Flickr photos)...the lovely ladies green cardi. Then over a bit..there is a lovely little cardi called Just Peachy...which is a must for Maya. I actually looked at this wool when Gill and I were in Sheepish woolshop in York and wasn’t sure about it...now I wish I had taken some as this is what Peachy is done in. So I might have to phone them to order some....OH ther is just too much for me in this mag Cheryl.(I’m having palpatations)..it’s a great issue and I haven’t even got to the end of it yet. Sorry LK
Now I must go and carry on reading and see if anything else pops up to capture my attention....Hope you’re enjoying it too Cheryl...just had to tell you...I’m over the moon…
I really enjoyed mine Nessa,i want to do the wrap tunic and i like the cardy on the front of the magazine,i must look through it again has i was just settling down to have a proper look when the phone rang when i answered it it was my sister Joanna ringing from turkey,it was a nice surprise to hear from her now i can look at my sk magazine again.

I’m going to have to go and hit tescos later then if I can get someone to watch Aston and the dog while I go. Shop at the end of my road doesn’t stock them. Boo! I’ve been looking for SK and LK. I’d like to get the LK one but I’m not sure I need any more free needles!
Got SK yesterday, havent had chance to look at it yet. Cake cooked, washing up done, back to Eeyore, half done!!
WAAH! Its all gone pear shaped! Eeyore not stuffed and looks like roadkill!! Least my friend has a cake, and 2 other presents! If only I could get myself into gear earlier! Shouldnt have gone shops yesterday, but then wouldnt have found that cool bag, sooooo...........

I wouldn’t worry RoseMom - I said I’d knit my dad a pair of socks for his birthday. I had one finished for his birthday in April and he didn’t get the other one til Father’s Day! lol He’s not even worn them yet so I don’t know why I bothered! He claims he doesn’t want to wear them out!
