My favorite place to knit is in my bedroom, snuggled up in bed with the tv on! its lovely and relaxing !

I cant knit in bed,i have tried,my sister Joanna knits in bed.

I guess it can be a little hard on your back and neck if you stay there for ages but for an hour or two its ok, for any longer than that I need to switch to a chair otherwise i’ll be all aches and pains LOL

I love knitting in the garden. It’s my favoutite place to knit, brilliant sunshine, dogs asleep under the deck chair and just click away.
This year the experience has been tainted a little with the kids who have moved in over the back. They sound like toddlers and are in the garden from 6am! by lunchtime they are whingey and the Mum just keeps screaming “shut up, get off, lay down!” Drives me nuts!

That would drive me nuts as well,i like to knit in my garden which i do,my neighbours son has started chucking his toys over,so i have moved my table and chairs away,he has been told off by me and his parents so hopefully i can knit in peace now.

I have one of those ikea chairs that is all bent round on itself and a footstool and this is my fave place to knit. I sometimes drag them out into the garden too but then I have to put my sunnies on as otherwise it is too bright!! As for the migraines, I was not a fan of all those meds that the doc used to give me that seemed to knock me out so i found a good homeopath who prescribed me a remedy that i just take at the onset of a migraine and this helps a lot. I don’t get them so much now anyway and not sure if i am just growing out of them or if it is the remedy too. I also think that a lot of my migraines were stress related and a way of my body/ brain saying ‘enough already -go and have a flipping rest from the world.’ which is exactly what you need to do isn’t it....
