Morning ladies,sun is out at the moment but it talks of rain later.I am off shopping and to get my SK(sorry LK)and there will be trouble if its not in sainsbury’s.I hope i can get my washing on the line before it rains,ironing and then knitting.Have a nice day.
Morning! We’ve got the rain here already, it’s very grey and wet. I’ve got an equally grey day at work then home to do the washing. What a perfect Friday!

Today I am off for lunch with some ladies I did a hypnobirthing course with! So it is ladies and babies lunch! LOL!
Nothing else planned, really, oh Sainsbury shop being delivered, work, looking after baby, and may get some knitting in there somewhere, but probably only really late tonight!

Good morning ladies, and it is a wonderful morning with all those flippin phone sock finished. Stayed up til 1.15am making sure they were all finished, if I could have stayed awake then I would have been in bed by midnight.
Zakk’s last day at school Woo Hoo. Not sure what to do with my last day of semi freedom. I still haven’t checked out the end of the sale in House of Fraser or John Lewis yet and I’m tempted to go and look today but lack of funds and a very very serious mountain of ironing are making me feel a little guilty. The house has been a little neglected (so what’s new) the last week or so and hubby’s sarcastic comments are really cheesing me off. Can’t decide whether to bite the bullet and get it all done for a quiet life or b*gger off to the shops and spend money I don’t have in a great big two fingered salute. MMmmmmm it’s a toughie.

Just a quick look at the forum today, got to:-
Make a cake for a friend, finish her Eeyore knitted present, sort out my Mums presents, wrap them all, wash up what looks like the whole households crockery, tidy my stash so got somewhere to sit, make tea, go to local craft club with my girl tonight, before I go got to find something half decent to wear, make 2 birthday cards,and possibly wash my hair before tonight, so another last minute dash like I always seem to do! Not knitting much today, craft club is flower arranging tonight, makes a change although I’m not that good, will give it a try though! Now off to get started on Eeyore, half sewn up so not too bad!

Cold and gloomy again this morning. It’s rained all night and is still spitting. Good news is that I got the decorating finished yesterday, so can have the day off today. We are going to a sale room in Sheffield this afternoon, where the contents of some Hotel are being sold off. Shame it’s not the contents of a wool shop isn’t it?
Well looks like it might rain here today! This has been the worst summer in the north of italy for 30yrs. how lucky is that!!?? I am well away knitting Portia although had to go and buy some new needles yesterday as the tension wasn’t quite right. They don’t do 3 1/4 mm needles here, they only go in halves so 3 1/2 it was then!! I need to go and do shopping as there is only 1 loo roll left.. whooops. The kids are very depressed. Ds finished school at the start of june and dd at the end and every day she asks me if it is a school day today. She hates being at home! I must admit I used to like the idea of the hols but not actually being at home. It was always very boring…
Mmm shops have won, helped by the fact that I need a pressie for my friends daughter birthday party tomorrow. See you all later.
Cheryl, teachers phone socks are done but my niece has said all her friends want one. I’ve told her I’m charging £2.50 a pop for them though. Thats still half of the shop prices though but I ‘m defo having the weekend off. I can’t face anymore just yet.
when thats done i’m going to try and finish the front of the sweater, starting to get excited now cos its beginning to take shape ( I was like wow armholes! ) i’ve only recently learned how to make one and knit/purl through the back of the loops! hope you all have a fab day
