I thought I’d post this as one of my recent projects -but please don’t think this is my normal knitting! My friend and her OH were going to the Isle of Wight music festival and there was a bit of a punk thing going on as the Sex Pistols and Iggy Pop were playing. She phoned me up - 2 weeks before the festival and said Bob wanted a waistcot for the festival. It had to be big & baggy and look like it was made out of string, with coloured bands round the edge, and how would she go about doing it. Muggins here volunteered, and this was the result, done from a couple of phone conversations. Apparently it was a hit and he kept being stopped and asked if people could take his photo. (He was done up with other gear and a red mohican as well). During the Pistols set he had it ripped off his back and nicked so someone liked it. I’ve never knitted a dishcloth before.
