Here we go, the one time I feel like knitting out in the garden and I cant.  I suffer from headaches and migraines and when the weather is so changeable like this, it really does me in.

Its really warm here in dagenham and my garden is south east facing so i have a full sun all the time until about 8.00 tonight.  My grass is so long but cannot get out there and i have woken up the past two days with headaches.

Does anyone else have a favourite place to knit, i might wait until around 8.00 and depending on the noise, may go outside.

Sorry for the moan, but i wish this english weather would make up its mind.

Love Sues

Sh.....you should come up to Scotland...we have all four seasons before lunchtime some days.  However it has been lovely today...ALL DAY..so I should not complain either.

I hope your headaches get better...and you get outside for a wee while later on tonight.

Poor you sue. Did you happen to find a free brain cell running about shouting I’m free? I seem to have lost 1 well maybe more, went to flickr but no idea what was happening, I do know I signed in. Thought I would have a shot on Playstation and wiped the configuration on it, The remote for the tv has gone on the bung, I know they say its good to get up and change chanels but pleeease there is only so much 1 person can take, electics and me are having a seriously bad day. The weather here isn’t too bad but if I had a brolly and wasa about 4st lighter I could be Mary Poppins without the pop. Once more into the breach here goes nothing.

Hi Sue I hope you are feeling better, I also suffer from migraines and ended up at the doctors for new tablets on Monday.  They make you so miserable. Take care

I get the migraines too, and have recently tried the “imagran”. I find you don’t get that after migraine spaced out feeling with them and so far one pill will do me. I can get three day migraines, so it was a blessing to find these (I don’t like the stuff doctors give it knocks u for six for days)

I hope you feel better!

Yes I like knitting outside as well, either early in the morning with a mug of coffee before it gets too hot or later in the evening with a glass of vin rouge (vin anything really) when it’s cooling down.

Hope you’ll soon be feeling better.

Hi Sue, hope you are feeling better but please, the changeability factor is what makes it English weather.
My favourite place to knit eerrmmm anywhere so long as my pins are in my hand. I do like sitting in the living room comfy on the settee, or I stand in the kitchen talking to hubby when he is playing music or sit in the garden with him when he has a ciggy or in the pub at knit nights.

Sue, I hope your migraine gets better.  I completely sympathise as am also prone to them and when I get them only laying down in a cold, dark place helps.

I knit anywhere but it tends to be tucked into the corner of the sofa in front of the tv with one of my two cats trying to get on my lap or lean against me.

I sit in my comfy chair (which is falling apart) to do mine. Just haven`t had the weather lately to knit outside, mind you have tried before & gave up because it was so warm.

I can’t knit in bed either Cheryl...I prefer sitting very upright with my pins in my hand and bed is to cushy and soft..oh I think I might just go for a lie down tongue rolleye didn’t sleep well last night.
Been busy today cleaning out some cupboards and getting rid of unused stuff...I’m not a hoarder..in fact I’m very much a ‘thrower outer’...so every now and again I have to have a clear out....I think Bill is scared to stand still...just in case… cool smile ..

Fed up and have the blues.

Lavender oil is good for headaches and also a hot bath.  I knit in my bedroom.  It’s the only space I have for soem peace and quiet, which is in short supply in my house.
