Some nice portable pattern cards with a range of patterns might be nice.  If you’re a “knitter on the go” as I am it is sometime awkward to lug a whole magazine out and a photocopy gets so tatty so quickly.

I must admit I didnt like the red tinny needles from a few issues ago because I could not get on with them so I gave them to my sister in law.  The bamboo crochet hooks I gave to a forum friend because I found them too square like.

However, as the saying goes “never look a gift horse in the mouth”.  I do like the freebies and you are getting value for money with the patterns. Maybe not to everyones taste but theres something in there for everyone.

So in answer to the voting pole, I am happy with whatever free gift I get but a change might be nice.

Love Sues

hello everyone!  i have yet to pick up a copy of the new LK, with not having a major supermarket retailer in the town, it is a trip out.  Hope to get it tomorrow when I go to Mum’s.  I must say the idea of the sock needles sound rather good, although like most people I have a basket full of needles.  A pink measure would be great!(spot on Nicky!) as too a selection of sewing needles with some tips on sewing up the things we make.  Some usual buttons would go down a treat too!  Or what about the circular needles?  Food for thought!

I don’t mind free needles but some variety in freebies would be nice. Also I gave up with the large red matal ones as they were so noisy. They shattered the peace of our teabreaks at work so I had to read until I got home and could change to a different pair.

I love the needles, as most of those inherited from my Gran are very fine so its nice to have the funkier ones.
