Let's Knit Magazine - Your knitting, your style

I came on tonight for a browse and a chat....but the site is so slow that it was not worth staying on.  The first post I made took 44 seconds to post and the two following posts took over 30 seconds.  I then went to my neighbour’s house next door and signed on her pc and it was the same...so it was not a problem with my computer.

PLEASE CAN THE ‘POWERS THAT BE’ HELP QUICKEN THE SITE SO THAT WE CAN GO BACK TO ENJOYING POSTING. AND MOVING AROUND THE SITE IN A REASONABLE WAY.

As there is no one other than myself on at the moment of writing this I am assuming others have experienced the same problem.  It is most unusual for the forum to be empty of users at this time in the evening.

Not having any probelms navigating round the forum or reading other people’s posts - let’s see how long this one takes!

Whatever was wrong seems to be ok now because the previous post was just as quick as normal.

Seems to be ok one minute and bad the next.  Never know what to expect when I come here, so it’s a relief if it isn’t slow.

Well I thought it was comp as ours can be tempermental, but yes it does seem slow at certain times, x Janet

When I came on earlier Gill..it was so slow that it wasn’t worth posting...and then I noticed I was the only one on at the time....so I wondered if others were experiencing the same thing as me.  I went into my friend next door and signed on to the forum on her laptop but it was just the same...so I knew that it wasn’t my computer....and anyway when I was browsing other knitting sites they were quite normal..so here’s hoping it sorts itself.

Boy that posted quickly....someone has done something I’m certain.

Hi Nessa ...it seems to be on and off all evening. I have been hopping between here and a game site and my knitting. Sometimes it has been OK and others I felt like chucking a brick at the B***** thing

Me too Gill...so I just abandoned it and went down to the TV and my knitting...I thought I would have a wee look in before going to bed and WOW it’s so quick just now....do you think they have turned some dials and pressed some buttons like last time..

Well Gill I think I will turn in now....it’s a shame as this is the fastest it has been in days...Take care...nity nite…

I hope so as I get a bit fed-up of waiting for something to move.
