that IS lovely!! where did you get the pattern from?? it would do for summer in cotton and winter with a long sleeved top underneath. my little girl would really suit something like that. you are clever!!

Thank You ! I have knitted in cotton, the pattern is from the second little sublime hand knit book, it is called Smockie. It goes up to 2 years, The pattern I made up myself, I just used some odd balls of cotton i had left and then knitted the blocks in different colours, it is the first time I’ve tried knitting blocks of colour and it was quite easy really, and interesting as well, glad you like it, have a go ! I can photocopy it for you if you want,pm your address and will send it you
x Janet

That is great Janet and it is the same pattern as I did for Gina. It is in SUBLIME in the original pattern. I got mine out of YOURS magazine. Is the original in pink????  I will show you next time you come.

Yes Gill it is the pink one, I’ve done Freya a couple of them but thought it would be nice to do one a bit different, and give the colour changing a go, the nice thing is that they should last a good while, as they can be worn as a dress but as they grow as a top over jeans or a skirt, x Janet

Great, Little things are so nice to knit.  They give you that great sense of achievement.
