Ooh it’s lovely JO - I can see it in shades of pink - cream background with progessively darker pink flowers or greeny/blues on a minty green background.  Ooh ooh or yellow background with orange red and green (strong primary colours anyway!) for the flowers.

Either way it’s lovely!

I was thinking blue with yellow flowers - it looks like a great knit.

PS. thanks for putting me onto that site which I hadn’t discovered before - lots of new free patterns to explore.  I may be gone for some time......

It’s a lovely pattern and I’ve just printed a copy off.  I have some Cream coloured cotton at home that will look nice with yellow, orange and red flowers.

Another thing added to my to be done pile then.

Oh gawd they’re terrible aren’t they - piles.

Piles of “future projects” piles of bills, piles of sewing, ironing.

Ugh.

Now why can’t we have NICE piles?  Piles of money would be a good one to start with to finance all the piles of “future projects”!!

At least you can sit on a pile of knitting or knitting patterns without needing to put a rubber ring down first LOL

Arn’t rubber rings for crochet you know making buttons! Imagine one big button how much wool would it take to make the hole to fit it?

I’ve had alook at the lionbrand site and studied the crochet lessons. There is nothing there that I don’t know but I still can’t seem to get to grips with the turning, it just seems to shrink in fron of my eyes, oh well back to basics and trying again
