My first ever felting project is in the washing machine, 2 booga bags.  I can’t believe how nervous and physically tense I am - I’m absolutley bricking it!!!

OMG - they are TINY!!

I love the felted effect and I love that the fabric has really stiffened up - I think I love felting but OMG they’re about HALF the size.

I’m not sure that they’re big enough to be usable as handbags.  And the I-cord may be too chunky to look right now that the bags are so small.

I’ve got them blocking on shoe boxes.

OMG - what have I done.

That happened with me too !!! I knitted an oblong to make a shoulder type bag and it went very small, I ended up cutting it into two and making shoulder purses, ideal for a camera, keys and phone if out for a walk, there is a pic somewhere on here in the depths x Janet
