If it is Cheryl’s parcel i will be putting a complaint with royal mail, Did you keep the reciept?

Sometimes royal mail can be brill and dispatch really quickly then other times they can take their time.

To Suse have you more info on the RNLI project

I haven’t heard back from the girl who made the gingerbred house yet. I will leave it until after summer then contact her t see what she wants doing, as it will take her a while to design the tableau and then decide what contributions she would like. When I know I will set up a new thread so that everyone gets the info.

I knit for the Romanian Orphans appeal and have been doing so for about 6 years.  I mainly make baby clothes up to 2 years but just recently have been making hats, gloves, scarves and socks for the Romanian street kids.

if anyone lives in edinburgh or nearby, john lewis’s has joined forces with bonnie babies charity. its going to run for a year.every month you collect a different pattern from lewis,s {free] and then buy the wool. when you complete the garment just take it back to lewis,s who then send it on every month.its only been going for two months so plenty of time to get involved. i don,t know if other branches are doing it but i thing its a great idea, no postage or packing, and you know youre doing something for a good cause.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

If you type knitted food into google there are loads of patterns there. As you go round the site you should see the one for food the girls have been posting over the last couple of days.

Hello Lumnut...welcome to the forum.  You and your friends are certainly busy with all the charity knitting you do.  You’ll find a lot of folks on here who knit for charities so they may be able to help you with stuff.  As for knitted food our Trulyscrumptious has a great site which you can click and see her work.  So check out some of her posts and you will get the link from there.  Have a lovely weekend and happy knitting.

Here is the link for the knitted food:
