Yes I totally agree there Janet.  I was really really glad I didn’t pay for two balls or less.  It is quite a nice book but I really want one to use all the odds and ends of wool I got left from my, my mum and my nans previous projects!  And the really good bit is that my Library don’t charge unless they reserve the book for you - if you do it online there’s no charge.

We straddle 2 boundaries, so I am in Wakefield and Leeds libraries, so I went mad and reserved loads, unfortunately I forgot to renew some of them and got a hefty fine, on one library you can only renew online so many times and on the other loads of times, and one you need to take them in and renew them in person after so many, but still was worth it x janet

It sounds like you could do with the three libraries getting their acts together and streamlining a little!  Even if they did it so they were all on the harsh side of the system, at least you would know that’s it and you haven’t got to try and remember each ones idiosyncracies.  (Is that how you spell that??) sorry if it’s not - hope you know what I mean! I know I do. but that doesn’t always help LOL

Oh God.  I SO glad (for me but sorry for you, Gill) that I not the only one.  Would it make you feel better to know that I have to go and see them all tomorrow?  With it being the dragon MILs birthday today FIL doing a barbecue tomorrow.  So not only will I have to endure THEM but looking at the forecasted rain and generally dodgy weather tomorrow it will be indoors too!  Not in the much larger garden but tangled up sitting on each others blooming laps I don’t doubt.  Wonder if any of the littlies want to play with mad aunty LeighLeigh?? lol
