I dont have to go to court because he pleaded guilty and admitted it when I confronted him.

He remembers damaging a car but not where or when.  If he had pleaded not guilty on his statement then that is when i would have had to go to court.

I just cant wait till my youngest has finished school (got two years to go) and then we are going to move out.  We cant go far because my husband works for Fords and its a good job, but far enough to be left alone.

Feel so knackered today, dont know how I am going to stay awake till 10.30 to pick my husband up from work. Just want to soak in the bath and go to bed.

See ya,

Sues

Sorry only just managed to get on now, it sounds awful, no wonder you are fuming, I think it is about time these people got more than just cautions, they should have curfews set, I think it is terrible the way people seem to get away with things today, x Janet

Sues yo don’t have to if you don’t want to but what road/area in Dagenham do you live in?  I used to live in John Burns Drive, Barking (just off Ripple Road on 287 bus route behind the Harrow Pub!) and we set up a Residents Association to deal with EXACTLY this sort of behaviour. (One of the incidents was a Pizza delivery guy being attacked - and they pushed his car backwards up the road to do it-you could hear the engine screaming from inside our 4th floor flat!) I’m not saying that’s what you should do- but have you considered phoning the council (are you private/council rent?) as because you’ve had problems in the area they may be prepared to liaise with the Police to get the Rowdy bus to patrol the area, also they may be prepared to “haggle” the cost of the dropdown because of the problems.  I will say that somewhere in my mind (deep and dark as it is!) they were trying to encourage people to have the drop downs a while back, and (you didn’t get this from me, right!?) don’t forget that if you or your significant other is on any benefits....  Need I say more??

If I was still in contact with anyone from the Council I would try and help further, but to be honest, it’s a while since I moved and all the E.O’s (Estates Officers) have probably changed over now anyway.  As is their want!  Good luck and keep your chin up.  It sounds like if he’s NFA (no fixed Abode) he may have done it on purpose to get banged up.  I’m not saying it’s right - but it happens.  Stick to your guns and nail the B*****D.

xx

It is a small world....I used to do deliveries there quite often. Before they built the new road. I also delivered to Portacabin near the big nightclub before the bridge at the other end of the A13 near Avely. and to a plumbers near Elm Park.
