Fed up doing scarfs with the fun fur wool well I did a bolero and gave it to my sister in law which means I will have to do myself another one. It feels wonderful, the only problem ‘don’t wear black’ its worse than dandruff lol

I had a load of this that I didn’t want to knit scarves in any more so I knitted a rug.  I backed it with an old blanket that I had and it’s really cosy - my cats love it!

Cheryl you have enough to knit a shrug in it. The basic shape is a long rectangle and you join the ends up lengthways. make sure the gap is slightly longer than your armpit to armpit measurement.

the rug sounds good!  I did a pram blanket which was white DK around the edges and white funky fur in the middle!  It was really “strokeable”.

They all sound fab!  Can we see your shrugs please.  Like everyone I have some fun wool left over.  How many stitches do you put on the needles and how long do you knit it for? Elbow to elbow?

Grant I used just over three balls what you could do to make sure you have enough is to do the edgingings in a plain matching or contrast wool and you will have enough. Think of it as mohair I think it uses the same size of needles
