I was just wondering where the term ‘frogging’ comes from, it’s one I’ve only really heard Americans use until recently when it seems to have increased in popularity.
Any ideas? Do frogs fail at knitting?

It comes when you “rip it, rip it” ripping back your knitting after you’ve made a mistake.
