Hello everyone - My name is Jane and I come from north Staffordshire.  I’ve been a knitter for years although now I do mainly charity knitting.  I also like reading and baking, and of course spending large amounts of money on yarn, needles, books, mags and other knitting necessities of life.

I found this forum recently and couldn’t wait to sign up.  Look forward to getting to know you all.

Welcome Jane, I do mostly charity knitting at the moment. I have recently joined Loving Hands, so I am working on my first parcel for them. Do you knit for a specific charity?

If you like reading and knitting I have seen a few write ups for good knitting anecdote bookslately.As per usual I can’t tell you what they are called though one may have been mentioned in one of the lets knit issues.Great help arn’t i.I do know http://www.abebooks.co.uk has some great knitting and other books.You can search by title’keyword and author.They are at different prices.Seen books on there reviewed in current magaziines that are half rrp and are new books.Good luck.Waggel
