Hi,
I hope some one can help me. Is there any way i can get a back issue. I lent mine to a friend and asked for it back and its arrived minus the middle pages which has the patterns i want to knit. Or has any kind person finished with there mag and hopefully i can buy it from them its issue 2 Dec/Jan.

Hi Her Indoors, welcome to the forum. So nice to have you here.
Now for the wrist slap. What on earth were you doing borrowing out your mag!!! Previous issues are like gold dust, too many of us are very selfish (unlike you) who won’t part with them for love or money. Now let that be a lesson to you.
Seriously there are a few lovely people out there who have volunteered to sacrifice their previous issues (they are in the queue for the funny farm over at the back) so you may get lucky. There’s also a bit of a lobby to get these previous issues reprinted because so many people didn’t discover the mag untill issue 4 or 5 and the early ones we have been informed are sold out. So keep your fingers crossed or get round to your friends house and hammer on the door til you get your missing pages back.

HI Her indoors, welcome, but sorry I cant help with the first issues of Lets knit. I made the big mistake of thinking it was a magazine for beginners!!!!! Oh dear things I missed!!!! Never mind, like you I am here now so enjoy and I hope “them wot writes it all” will take pity on us and reprint the first ones. GILLx

Hi Suse,
The patterns that are missing are from issue 2 Dec/Jan.
The mag has come back with pages 47 to 53 missing and i wanted to knit the Bolero, the chunky jumper, [ I’m starting my Xmas presses early ] and I think there is a shopping bag on those pages. I’ve dropped a hint that the mag is incomplete but my friend didn’t mention any thing.

Hi Gill,
I totally agree with you I think Lets Knit should reprint the patterns from the first couple of editions, even if its just on the net then we are able to download them. I have to admit I do get other knitting mags but Lets Knit is my favorite lots of patterns ideas tips and good reading not full of adverts.

what about other back issues? due to a lack of stock in my WHSmith I am missing issues 3,5 and 6! :(

You MIGHT get 5 and 6 but I am sure someone said 3 was out of stock. We will just have to keep asking EVER SO NICELY.... PRETTY PLEASE. for reprints of the first few editions.
If you click on the subscribe link at the top of the page then there is a phone number somewhere on there. If your sub hasn’t turned up then you should report it and they should get another one sent out.
if you click on the subscribe bit and the next bit after (its a while since I tried it) then there is an option to order back issues. You click on a drop down box and it tells you which issues are available direct.
Hope that helps, its late and I’m off to bed. Already fell asleep on the settee, woke up to come to bed and ended up on here for 40 mins. What a dougnut. Gnight.
